Dissertation: Revelations in the Study of Medieval Stained Glass Windows: The Scientific Analysis of Panel 3b of the Great East Window of York Minster by Electron Probe Microanalyser and Handheld Portable X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer.
(This dissertation is two-fold: It furthers our understanding of Medieval potash-lime-silica glass in terms of technology and conservation, as well as investigating the use of non-invasive surface analyses with pXRF in the scientific study of stained glass windows)
Results: Dissertation awarded a Distinction, and given the highest mark achieved by UCL Institute of Archaeology Masters that year (272 students). Distinction also achieved for degree overall. Awarded Institute of Archaeology Prize.
