Dr. Nguyen received her BA in English and Classics from Trinity University and her PhD in Classics from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests center on Latin literature, particularly of the Neronian period, selfhood, and narrative. She is currently working on her first monograph on choice-making in Seneca, which analyzes how choice-making is used as mechanism for self-construction in his works.
