News From Our Majors & Minors: Graduate School Acceptances!

Giuliana Savini

Giuliana Savini, a Classical Studies major, has accepted an offer at Oxford for the one year MSt in Greek and Latin Language and Literature.  She applied to 8 schools (all one year masters programs) and received acceptances at King’s College, St. Andrews, UCL, Edinburgh, Durham, Oxford, and Trinity.  Additionally, this summer she plans to participate in a 3 week dig at the excavation of the baths at Roman Carsuale.

Kevin Chapman

Kevin Chapman, a Classical Studies minor, will be attending Exeter College, Oxford University to study for the MSt in Ancient Philosophy.  This is a Philosophy program which borrows from the Classics department (including specialty language training from Oxford Classicists, which he is very excited about).  The link to the course description can be found here.
